Dynamic LOV issue in CUSTOM.pll [message #133682]

Hi
I am reusing a seeded Record group with dynamically created query and associating it to a text item LOV. In the seeded for there is a SHOW_LOV () being triggered in WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM event, becouse of which, when i select a new value from the LOV the "list of values" pop's up again and i have to select again, the second time it is going through fine. Please let me know if i can do some work around to surpass this 2 time lov popup.

What happens if you set 'Automatic select' to 'yes'?

can the automatic select be done at runtime. if yes what is the syntax for this.
