HI..
May i know if i can associate any key to perform certain function..
Suppose if i preess F3 it will popup an LOV. like it normally does when u press F(..
same way if i Press F8 it will show any value in a specified display item etc..
Is is possible.
Also kindly tell me how to generate Project Exe File from Forms 6i..
Becuase only exe files are to be deployed on users system..
and Forms does not have option in File Menu. to make project exe

Other people please correct me if I am mistaken but it is my understanding that no version of Forms can be deployed as an 'exe' file. That's why Oracle developed the 3-tier structure so that the application runs on an Application Server and the user accesses it through their browser.
About the function keys. F1 is entry-query, so to use f1 for something else then write a Form level or block level Enter-query trigger and put whatever code you want into it.
