In a form there are some three blocks.When i insert records into a form,after first block entered it inserts records into a table..and moves to another block.But it shows error

ORA-40508 :Unable to insert record

Can anyone explain what is the problem

Press shift-F1 (show error) to reveal the SQL statement that provoked the error and the real error message.

If you have master-detail relationships then verify that the subordiante tables are getting the primary key of the master table propogated to them. Search this forum for 'master' and 'detail'.
