Hi,
We are trying to make forms 6i work on Oracle 10g database on Linux. The forms developer and runtime crash as soon as I enter the userid/password@connectstring. It was working fine when the database char set was not UTF8.

Does this mean that Forms 6i is not compitable with 10g with UTF8 charset? Installing patch 17 did not help. The forms 6i is use RSF 806. Is there any way to make forms 6i use higher RSFs?

Many thanks.
Kiran

Are you trying to run Forms 6i as C/S or through Application Server?

I am trying to run forms on c/S.
The problem has been solved by changing the oracle charset to UTF8 from AL32UTF8. Forms 6i does not work with AL32UTF8.
