I have about 125 forms & 20 reports in my Forms 5.0 application.
Is there a EXE or similar way to have the application running
in fewer files ?

How do you mean, "fewer files"? What's wrong with 125 forms and 20 reports? How many of them would satisfy you? Do they occupy too much space on the disk? I mean, WHY would you want to do that?

You could delete several forms and reports ... but that wouldn't be a good idea, I guess. Or, you could rewrite the whole application. Or ... I don't know what else.

Littlefoot..

Reason for such a thought is that, as of the moment I don't have an application server and the forms/reps reside in each client PCs (abt 20 terminals). So for any change in code , I have to
copy file to each system. Though it is the same with a single file(exe ,if at all possble), it is much better than copying
& maintaining 120 files.
Anyway, it seems very much evident that such a tech is not in D2k (atleast in Forms5).

Can't you put the files on a file server, a network drive? That's how I've seen it on several sites.

Well, the second explanation was much more informative than the first one. Although it is perfectly clear to you what's going on in the system, we have no idea and it is kind of hard to guess what you're up to.

So, how about Maaher's suggestion? Keeping source on a file server and map this drive (actually, a directory) to client PC's?
