and veiw the result in a text box or store in a variable

use following syntax in Host command

VOL >result.txt

The output of this command witll be saved in a text file named result. Now there will be a method to read and display any text file.
I dont know that method. ANy expert can comment on it.

Use 'text_io' or 'utl_file' depending on the version of Forms and Database.
